Kat Von D: Creative Packaging
Creative Fashion Direction Brief: Consider and show the ability to implement fundamental design features of branded packaging using myself as a ‘hot new product’. The work had to be inspired by a pre-existing relevant brand through identifying their recognisable colour palette, typeface and font. I choose Kat Von D which created a new challenge for myself in using Adobe Illustrator to trace Von D's unique fonts to create my own text. Along with the packaging, two copyright editorials were required which needed to demonstrate an appropriate tone of voice and reflect on the packaging and design.
